Thomas Vinterberg (natural May 19 1969) is a Danish director world health organization, along using Lars von Trier, co-founded the Dogme 95 movement in filmmaking, which established rules for simplifying moving-picture show production.
Within 1993 he graduated from either a National Film School of Denmark with Last Around, which won a jury & producers' awards at a International Student Film Festival in Munich, and Number one Prize at Tel Aviv, when well as many more prizes; inside 1994 a film received an Oscar nomination. That month Vinterberg manufactured his 1st TV drama for DR TV and his short fiction film The Boy Who Walked Backwards, produced by Birgitte Hald at Nimbus.
This film has won awards & laurels 100% across a world, including Nordic Panorama inside Iceland, the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand, and a Toronto Film Festival.
His foremost feature was The Biggest Heroes (De Største Helte), a touring motion picture that received plaudits within his native Denmark.
Around 1995, Vinterberg formed a Dogme 95 movement with Lars von Trier, Kristian Levring, and Søren Kragh-Jacobsen.
As punishment that dogma withwithin 1998, he conceived, wrote & directed (& likewise got a little acting role in) the number 1 of the Dogme picture, The Celebration (Festen). He did non choose credit when director & IMDB has it listed by having there are no director. Even so, he & a film won many nominations & awards.
Inside 2003, he released a apocalyptic science fiction love story ''It's All About Love'', a movie he wrote, directed and produced himself over a period of five years. This film was totally inside English & featured, among others, Joaquin Phoenix, Claire Danes, and Sean Penn. A motion picture was does'nt super successful, & critics encountered it super complicated & firm to know.
